Akerman, A H  - a tall swarthy boy with glasses who participated in school athletics.  Came 1st in the 100 yards for form III, and 2nd in the High Jump for form III (4ft 1 in) at the Athletic Meeting held on July 13th, 1943.  In Northwick House.  Runner up for the Middle Athletics Championship in July 1944.  Won the Middle school High Jump at the Athletic meeting in July 1944 with a jump of 4ft 7 1/2 in.  Awarded Athletics Colours in 1946.

Arnold,  Phillip  - Came 2nd in the 660 yards for form III at the Athletic Meeting held on July 13th, 1943.

Barnard,  R. J. - always called Cherub in consequence of his angelic looks.  Won place at RAF College, Cranwell, 1949.

Cunningham,  Gilbert  - known as slug. Philip Arnold writes: "I think his mother was a school teacher."

Deards,  Donald

Ellerby,  Ronald  - Philip Arnold writes: "have my doubts about his given name. His father was WJ Ellerby, general secretary of a union. Remember meeting him when I was married and buying a house on mortgage. Ellerby junior didn't believe in buying a house, thought it more socialist to rent!"

Fuller

Hooper  - Came 3rd in the High Jump for form III (3ft 9 in) at the Athletic Meeting held on July 13th, 1943.

Klein,  Alan H   - Life saving instructor, at the Royal Life-Savings Society's exam held in July 1946, First Class and Second Bar to Medallion.

Lane,  Michael R   - Philip Arnold writes, "always top of the class. Went to Cambridge I think. Always expected to hear of him but never did. Would have made a good don or high civil servant"  In December 1946 he was in U VI Sci. and wrote an article for Gaytonian entitled  "The Aesthetic", and a poem "School Brew".

Miller  - Had lost an eye due to scissors and had a glass one.

Mitchell,  Alan

Page, Roy Norton  - Did not reach the 6th Form. Was killed on a motor cycle before he was 21.  Came 2nd in the 100 yards for form III at the Athletic Meeting held on July 13th, 1943.  (Akerman, above, was 1st.)

Renshaw,  Peter

Sillick, - Stroke of the winning crew in the Regatta at Hammersmith in 1946, Scratch Fours one thousand yards.

Weller,  Alan F - Awarded a life-saving certificate at school in 1943.  Came second in the Mile Walk at the 33rd annual Sports Day on July 6th, 1946.  School cricket umpire in 1946.  Wrote report on Rugby 1945/46 for July 1946 Gaytonian.  Prefect 1946-47.

Zammett,  Peter  - Came 3rd in the 660 yards for form III at the Athletic Meeting held on July 13th, 1943. (Arnold - see above - was 2nd.)
