David Lloyd-Jones writes: "Malcolm Heath (left) and Neil Davis. This look like a War Games Society exhibition or contest. It's in the Old Hall (Gym 2). It may have been taken at one of the Spring Fairs held in March 1971 and 1972. These were short-lived, miniature, indoor Gayton Fairs organised by Mr Bunting of the Biology Department . I helped to run a giant Scalextric track at one (or both) of these events with my friend and classmate Bob Proudfoot. The track was in the middle of the Old Hall, but I can't remember who or what was at the ends.
Did the War Games Society ever host matches or contests with societies from other schools?"
